High Intensity Bike Shop Sales:

OEM Items:

OEM components are removed from brand new bicycles.  They were previously assembled and therefore may have minor marks from removal off the bike.  The bikes these components come off of have never been ridden.  OEM components come with original warranty, but do not come with original box or owner’s manual.

Combining shipping:

We offer discounted shipping on multiple items.

If you are interested in purchasing more than one item from HIBS, you can either

1. Buy the items and request an updated invoice with discounted shipping
2. Prior to purchase, drop us an email with the parts/items you are interested in and we’ll get back to you with a discounted shipping quote.

Shipping methods:

USA shipments will ship via USPS, FedEx or UPS.  Shipping method will be noted in the shipping section of the listing.

Complete bikes shipping to Canada will ship through FedEx Int’l.

All other international sales will ship through United States Postal Service.  This is the most cost effective shipping method.  Priority Mail International shipments generally take 6-10 business days, but can and have taken up to 16 business days.

HIBS reserves the right to choose the carrier depending upon the winning / Buy It Now destination location.  If concerned about the shipping method that will be chosen, please ask us prior to purchase.

Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and USA Territories

Shipping charges will only cost more on larger items such as forks, wheels, frames and complete bikes.  All other items will be the normal USA Shipping costs.  Please request a quote before bidding/buying if you are interested in any of the above mentioned items.

International shipping

HIBS can ship most items internationally.  Method of shipping we use is USPS Priority Mail International.  If an item can be shipped in a USPS Priority Mail flat rate envelope, we can ship to any country.  If the item has to be shipped in a box, we will note the countries we are able to ship to and the shipping price in the item description section.

If international shipping is not disclosed, please contact us for a quote prior to purchase.

Customs fees:                    

Your country may have import duties and/or taxes on shipments delivered from the USA.  These charges are completely separate from HIBS shipping charges.  You are responsible for paying any charges associated with your government.  HIBS is not responsible for any these taxes, duties or customs fees.  Please contact your local post office for more information.

Declared Value / Gift

HIBS is a respectable and honest eBay Store. We do not fraudulently declare a value on merchandise for anything other than the sales price. Nor do we mark shipments as “gifts”.  Participating in this activity is Customs Fraud and therefore illegal.  Do not ask!           

Shipping insurance options:

Insurance is not offered/not available with USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelopes or USPS First Class Mail.  If you wish to purchase insurance, please let us know and we’ll give you a quote for a different shipping method. 

Insurance is optional on all other packages. 

We highly recommend shipping all packages insured, but it is up to you.  If you choose not to purchase insurance, HIBS, High Intensity Bike Shop, will not be held accountable for lost or damaged packages.

How Quickly Will you Ship My Item(s)?

Generally, items paid for before 3pm EST will ship out the next morning.  Items paid for after 3pm EST, will ship out within 48 hours.  Items purchased over the weekend or holiday will ship out within 48 hours of the next business day. 

HIBS will not ship any items out until your payment is complete.  This means that if you make a non-instant PayPal payment, we cannot ship out your package until the payment has cleared through PayPal.

Returns:

Returns are only accepted if we are notified within 3 days of you receiving the item.  This only applies on regular priced items.  No auctions, sale priced items or blowout pricing can be returned.  No exceptions.  On regular priced items, the cost of the item will be refunded after we are in receipt of the package.  Item needs to be in same condition as we sent it.  Please notify us before shipping any item back and please package with care!

Is the item in your Stock or Do you have to Order it?  Will I experience a delay in shipping?

HIBS only lists items we actually have in stock.  Sticking with this policy, enables us to ensure that our customer’s product is shipped promptly thereby ensuring customer satisfaction.  However, because HIBS also operates a physical bike shop (High Intensity Bike Shop) we occasionally, though rarely, sell the item in our retail shop just prior to selling it online.  This rarely happens, but in the interest of full-disclosure, online buyers need to be aware that as a retail bike shop as well, this can happen.  So, HIBS reserves the right to terminate listings early.
