The Ted Scott Flying Series is a Stratemeyer syndicate series using the pen name Franklin W. Dixon, a pseudonym made famous by the Syndicate’s Hardy Boys Series. The series was successful with 18 titles originally published by Grossett and Dunlap. The series namesake Ted Scott was an aviation hero mirroring the feats of many real life pilots and was immensely popular due to the Nation’s rapidly growing interest in aviation.

Description: This is book 2 in the Series with all 1927 copy right books listed in the front of the book. No books in the advertising section in the book’s rear had later copy right dates then 1927. The book has first format blank end papers and the original red cloth boards used in the first format. The nation’s interest in aviation made this series much more popular than the Hardy Boys in the early publishing years.

Condition: Solid slightly cocked binding, clean through out with a almost no storage odor, no marks other than signature by first owner dated December 25, 1928.  Overall condition is Good Plus, no dust jacket.
