Bobbie Bresee stars as fading movie queen Lynn Roman in this low budget sci-fi/horror film from director Kenneth J. Hall (PUPPETMASTER). Finding herself turned down again and again for roles she could have easily landed just a few years earlier, Lynn is becoming increasingly desperate to return to regain her youthful appearance.

So, she jumps at the opportunity when a scientist who is working with Venusian microbes on a "fountain of youth" serum approaches her to test it. Lynn is thrilled when it appears to work but, unfortunately, it also periodically changes her into a hideous bug monster that seems to have a predilection for Hollywood producers who have snubbed Lynn.

Microbes are brought back to earth via a space probe from Venus. A scientist is using them in experiments on ageing, but dies before the work is finished. His assistant approaches an ageing actress who is being passed by for the lead roles, and she injects the serum hoping to become young again. When the actress is still passed up for the plum roles, the alien bacterium transforms her into a hideous bug-like alien resulting in a predictable attrition problem amongst her detractors.
