A reserve price is the minimum price the seller will accept. This price is hidden from bidders. To win, a bidder must have the highest bid and have met or exceeded the reserve price.
Up for bid is a black genuine belting leather briefcase by Hartmann. It’s in EXCELLENT pre-owned condition with only minor surface scratches that you might find in any genuine leather product. The briefcase has chrome colored fittings, a combination lock (I don’t know how to change it, but it opens and closes at the current setting, L 3, R 8), adjustable and removable strap that is finished on one side with leather, and the other side with webbing, and shoulder pad. The inside is lined in a tan acetate fabric, and there is some soiling under the flap. The front section has two leather credit card-sized slip pockets, 3 pen loops, and a wider loop. The main section has two 12 x 3 ½ inch slip pockets. The outside has two deep 3 x 6 inch pockets on each side, which close with velcro. www.hartmann.com shows a similar style, the Flap Over Brief, with a retail price of $795.00.
The approximate size is: Height: 12 inches; Width: 16 ½ inches (not including the pockets); Thickness at bottom: 4 ½ inches; Drop from top of strap to bottom: 32 inches; Thickness of shoulder strap: 1 inch.

DEFINITIONS: I use the following definitions in describing items. New: the item is new with tags (NWT) or new without tags (NWOT). The tags do not always have the original price. Excellent, XLNT OR EUC: like new, as new, or may show minimal signs of prior use; no holes, rips repairs, tears, stains, snags, scratches. Very Good: may show signs of prior use, but no rips, tears, stains, snags, scratches; holes, if any, are expertly repaired and barely visible. Good: I rarely list items that are only rated as good. The item must be really unusual or was originally a high quality item, and every effort will be made to describe and picture its flaws. If you have any questions at all, send me an e-mail before bidding. Please review my feedback and know you can bid with confidence!
