Upgrading Heng Long Tanks - Tracks

1. Use a sharp tool to gently push the pin out.		 Click for larger image
2. Use a pair of long nose plier to remove the pin.		 Click for larger image
3. Remove and replace tracks links or entire tracks as needed.

This guide can be used for replacing individual worn or broken track links, entire tracks or upgrading to metal heavy duty tracks.

If you are upgrading to metal heavy tracks, we recommend that you also upgrade to metal heavy duty drive sprockets and gearboxes with metal gears and at the same time.

1. Use a sharp tool to gently remove the sprocket cap.		 Click for larger image
2. Use screw driver to unscrew sprocket from drive shaft.		 Click for larger image
Hints: Use screw driver with magnetic head if available.

3. gently remove sprocket from drive shaft. Repeat for other side.		 Click for larger image
4. Some newer models require an Allen key instead of a cross-head screw driver..

Repeat steps 1 to 4 in reverse when fitting replacement sprockets.

This guide can be used for both replacing worn or broken sprockets with another plastic set and upgrading to a set of metal heavy duty sprockets.
