I worked at a Fire Extinguisher Company about 15 years ago in Los Angeles and made friends with an elderly lady from Singapore.  She use to go back once a year on vacation and bring back everybody presents.  This wooden carved frog happened to be the gift she gave me one of the years she went back home to visit.  Well the Fire Extinguisher Company has gone out of business and we were all laid off.  I have since moved to New York and have lost contact with the lady I use to work with from Sinagapore.  I have moved in with a new girlfriend and do not have anymore room for cute things like these do I must sell it here on eBay.

This is a wooden carved frog under a leaf.  It does have some dings and scratches but it adds to the character of the art work.  I am told it was hand carved and hand painted by a starving artist on the streets of Singapore.  The painting is very detailed and blends on the wood nicely.  The Leaf can be removed but the frog is defitnally attached to the base and the leaf stem.  It is 10 1/2 Inches Tall by 4 1/2 Inches Wide.  It has been a beautiful peace on my lamp table for years and would makes a great conversation peice when placed in the open.  Please give him a good home and help out the struggling art world.
