This is a lovely, collectable display plate from the famous Imperial Jingdezhen Porcelain factory.  It is in the series Beauties of the Red Mansion.  It is of a a girl dusting the screen.  There is a decorative border round the edge.  There is a story to each of the Beauties and it is in script on the back.  As it is all in Chinese calligraphy I have no idea what it says.  I assume all other info regarding the plate is on there.  There is one English sentence warning about precious metal pigments are not food safe.  There is the Dragon mark of the factory and copyright 1986.  The plate is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or signs of wear.  The plate is 8.5 ins / 21.5 cms diameter.
