You are bidding on aHemingray Petticoat Blue Insulator. Embossed on one side toward the top, "N.A.T. Co." which stands for, North America Telegraph Company. On the same side lower down it's embossed, "H.G. Co. PAT. MAY 2nd 1893". Opposite side is embossed, "PETTICOAT". As to the color, I have seen it called cobalt, peacock blue and sapphire. Please look at the pictures and deside for your self what the color is. I admit I do not know a lot about insulators, so please ask any questions you have.
Measures 4 1/8" tall. Condition is fair to good. Down at the base where the drip points are (outer rim) is a series of large chips. On the inner rim there are 2 chips. There is a air bubble on the inside the looks like it has a crack radiating away from it. Please look at all pictures and ask any questions.
These would make a great addition to your Insulatorcollection. Please look at my other auctions for more great items.
Shipping
I try to offer as many choices as possible for shipping in the USA, Priority, Parcel Post, Media Mail and 1st class. 1st class is only used up to 13 oz total weight including packaging and takes 3 to 7 days to reach the buyer. Media mail is for books, manuals, software and like items. Takes 7 to 10 days to reach buyer. Parcel Post takes 2 to 10 days to reach the buyer and is only cheaper then Priority mail when it is beyond 2 postal zones. Priority is normally the fastest at 2 to 3 days to reach the buyer and sometimes more expensive then Parcel Post. None of these times for delivery is guaranteed by the Post Office. For overseas shipping the choices are 1st class international and Priority international. 1st class international is for packages weighing up to 4 pounds with packaging and Priority international is the only other way I will ship overseas. Times are dependent on your countries customs office. I have no control over anything once it is shipped. Please take all of this into consideration, before you bid.

Questions and answers about this item
Q: Hello, The crack in the air bubble is it long extending thru the entire insulator or is it from the air bubble to the outside or inside of this insulator? Thanks. A: To the inside. I cannot feel it at all. It kind of follows the screw treads. Thanks for looking,
Bill
