Condition: Good – age and shelf wear to covers – corners bumped, gift inscription and personal note inside front cover, other inside pages unmarked, NOT ex-library or schoolbook.

Set in “Black” dialect and illustrated with in-line color drawings. A series of tales about a little boy with a lot of gumption who writes little songs at the end of each tale. Set in Sanford, FL early 1900s.
