Original Artwork Comic: Artist & Writer Autographed Comic

SIGNED BY 2 CREATORS! Marvel Comics, The Incredible Hulk # 371 from 1990. Comic story was written by Peter David, and the artwork by Bob McLeod. The comic was hand signed by Peter David at the 4th Annual New York Comic-Con, February 6-8, 2009, and by artist Bob McLeod at the Annual Big Apple National Comic Show, November, 2007.  It comes with 2 POA's (Proof Of Authenticity).

Peter David,  best known for his work in comic books and Star Trek novels. David often jokingly describes his occupation as "Writer of Stuff". David is noted for his prolific writing, characterized by its mingling of real world issues with humor and references to popular culture. He also uses metafiction frequently, usually to humorous effect, as in his work on the comic book Young Justice.

A story by David, "The Death of Jean DeWolff", for Spectacular Spider-Man,  ran in issues #107-110 of that title in 1985. Months later, however, Bob Harras offered David The Incredible Hulk because it was a flagging title that no one else wanted to write, bedinning an incredible run from 1987–1998! His writing credits include: Wolverine, X-Factor, all 3 Spider-Man titles, Star Trek, Supergirl, Aquaman...

He is also well know for his Star Trek novels.

Bob McLeod: is best known for co-creating the New Mutants with writer Chris Claremont. McLeod began his career working in the production department of Marvel Comics in 1973 on an recommendation from Neal Adams, but soon began penciling and inking for Marvel's Crazy magazine, doing several movie satires and the Teen Hulk strip. He was a member of The Crusty Bunkers inkers while working at Neal Adams' Continuity Studios, then went on to become a top inker at Marvel and DC on many series, including The Incredible Hulk, Conan the Barbarian, The Legion of Super Heroes, Detective Comics, Wonder Woman, and The New Titans, as well as penciling Star Wars and several Spider-Man fill-ins for Marvel.

He penciled the graphic novel and then the first three issues of New Mutants and inked a number of subsequent issues. McLeod also inked Mike Zeck's pencils on the famed Kraven's Last Hunt storyline across the three monthly Spider-Man comics published at the time. He was also the artist on Superman in Action Comics in the early 1990s.

McLeod also illustrated several issues of The Phantom comic book for the Swedish publisher Egmont, and has worked on various commercial projects. He has also written and illustrated a children's book, Superhero ABC, which was published by HarperCollins in 2006 and received starred reviews from School Library Journal and ABA Booklist. McLeod currently teaches part-time at the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and edits Rough Stuff magazine for TwoMorrows Publishing.

Look for more premium signed books!

Comic is in a VF, unread condition.   Larger scans available upon request.

To eliminate some concerns as to the authenticity of an autographed item, I include in most cases, what I call a POA (Proof Of Authenticity), which usually is a copy of the flyer addressed to me and the page listing the artist as a scheduled guest. While I provide certificates for some items, my experience at conventions is that, the table selling certificates is far removed from most of the artists. As a result, the signing isn't witnessed by the sellor of the certificate, so how can this be guaranteed authentic? Another source of certificates are those printed up by the sellor who guarantees authenticity!!! Just a thought not to get hung up on certificates. I have been selling signed items on ebay since December 4, 1998. I haven't had any problems with authenticity in all that time! I personally guarantee that the signature is authentic, and was signed by the creator, witnessed by me.

P&H is $5.00 for the first 3 comics, USA & Canada. Add $.50 for each additional comic. I always pack carefully and securely, bag and board, sandwiched between heavy cardboard for protection.

International P&H is $8.00 for the first book, $3.00 each additional book won.

PLEASE DO NOT PAY FOR MULTIPLE WINS INDIVIDUALLY. WAIT FOR MY INVOICE.
