This auction is for Annie Oakley in Double Trouble by Doris Schroeder, and Roy Rogers and the Enchanted Canyon by Jim Rivers.  They are both TV tie-ins from the 1950s.  Descriptions and conditions related information follows:

Description, Annie Oakley in Double Trouble:  The book was published by Whitman Publishing Company of Racine, Wisconsin in 1958.  It was produced to coincide with the television series, and was illustrated throughout by Tony Sgroi. The television series started in 1954 and continued through 1956, consisting of 81 episodes.  Later ABC showed reruns on Saturday and Sunday daytime from 1959-1960 and from 1964-1965.  It is a pictorial cover hardcover that was not issued with a dust jacket.

Front cover:  Edgewear to corners, small tear to upper left by top of book hinge; protective coating worn at hinge; no scratches, no dings, no creases, no staining or soiling

Back cover:  Edgewear to corners; small tear to upper right by top of book hinge; protective coating worn at hinge; no scratches, no dings, no creases, no staining or soiling

Cover colors:   Clear and bright

Marking or writing to cover:  None

Spine:  Edgewear on top and bottom corners, tear to top left corner; no scratches, no creases, no dings, no staining or soiling, spine straight and without canting

Page edges:  Clean, colored edges are not spotted

Page faces:  Clean, illustrations clear and bright, pieces of tape on pages 49 through 52 although no tears appear present; small ding in top center of pages 9 through 15; small tear to bottom of page 23/24

Page color/tint: Light tanning due to age; slightly more at page edges

Page tightness in spine:  Pages are tight in the spine

Marking or writing to pages: Previous owner’s name writer discretely in ink at the top of the title page
