Louis Vuitton Monogram Travel Toiletry Case

   We are very pleased to place for auction this very well cared for, and very difficult to find Louis Vuitton Monogram Travel Case (which functions perfectly as a shaving kit).  We purchased this item at the Louis Vuitton store in New York, in 1983, and are therefor perfectly comfortable in assuring interested parties, and a purchaser of this item, that it is authentic and not one of the all too many similar products, or items passed off as an authentic Louis Vuitton piece. 

   Lightly used and well maintained, this travel kit measures 9 1/2" in length, 5 1/2" in width, 1" in depth if pressed/folded flat, and 4" in depth when fully opened.  The interior features a full vinyl lining, which is washable and which also functions to retain spills and similar issues which occur during travel (unfortunately, the lining is not completely water or liquid proof, but will provide a good modicum of protection to one's luggage or clothing during travel).  The kit opens fully by utilization of a twin flap hinged enclosure. 

   Made of canvas with cowhide leather trimming, this item does have a small (dark blue) mar, which is noted in the pictures that attend this listing.  Minor surface scratches.  The vinyl lining needs only to be glued down in one corner of the inside base of this travel kit.  Otherwise, this item is in quite good condition.
