MY BEER CAP STORY
 
Beginning in 2002, I began obsessively collecting beer caps to make a lampshade for a Beck mini keg I was transforming into a lamp. This compulsion soon became a fetish; need less to say, the lamp never got completed but I continued to compulsively hoard bottle caps no matter where I went. Soon, they began collecting in the bottom of my purse, different containers throughout my house, and even in the cup holders of my car. Friends of mine began setting up paper bags at their parties for everyone to contribute to my OCD effort.
I have been making unique earrings for eBay since 2004, and not until April 2008 did it click: why not make the bottle caps into earrings? (ok, so I’m a little slow, but it is still a great idea none the less)
 My collection has left me with thousands of bottle caps that I am now transforming. Thanks to my boyfriend for being an avid drinker of a plethora of (good) beers, I have a vast variety of imports as well as the oh-so-popular domestics. My man is particularly fond of Big Sky Brewing Co.’s "Moose Drool," so be expecting a lot of them (and they come with great sayings on the inside)!
 
 
 
 
*Please note: Bottle caps are subject to having scratches and/or dents due to being opened with bottle openers, my matchbox-compulsion type of storage the last so many years, and the process of making the bottle caps into earrings. Coloration may also vary slightly from picture.
All caps have been cleaned & sanitized through the use of anti-bacterial wipes.
