I am not charging a handling fee for this item.

This chair has been appraised at being a circa 1920's chair.  I've made a pillow and a seat cover from a vintage mohair fabric which complements the nicely patinaed wood tone.   You can see in the photographs the condition of the chair, including a scorched and split area on a back of the chairback which appears to have been done prior to assembly.  The rest of the chair isn't touched. 

Note in one photograph the wood 'nails' that are used to hold it together.  There is no metal holding this chair together.

This very sturdy little chair stands about 24" overall, 11" to the seat (excluding the cushion).  The seat is about 11" wide and 9" deep.

I try to use free/inexpensive packing materials so that I don't have to charge much for handling. I do my best to keep costs down and have an excellent record which reflects this. For items that I feel need to be insured, I will include insurance which is reflected in my handling fees. If you prefer not to have an item insured, I can reduce my handling fee, but you will have to contact me. I have never had an item broken and Delivery Confirmation has always tracked items that I've shipped. I usually ship within a day of a completed sale. However, since there is no weekend shipping available (I generally ship USPS), it may take up to 4 days to ship an item. I will only accept the return of an item if it has been improperly described.


I expect payment within 48 hours of the sale or a requested invoice. If you're not ready to pay for it, please don't bid on it. I now only leave feedback once I receive feedback.


The majority of the items we sell belong to us. Occasionally, I may sell an item that I take in and sell for a friend. My husband has been an accredited appraiser and we describe all items to the best of our ability. We have been able to maintain our high feedback due to our descriptions.
