1888 J R O E & SONS REEL

I'll be listing several old fishing reels over the next couple of days. They came from a lifelong collection and are GUARANTEED OLD & ORIGINAL . What you see in the pictures is what you get.
J R O E & sons REEL. Marked: Pat. dates, Aug. 7, 1888. I couldn't find any information on this maker. It appears to be in original condition. All Brass. Not sure if it's complete? The reel measures 5 1/2" diameter. I'm calling it a Trolling Reel?
CONDITION: Needs General cleaning and polishing. ( we don't clean, or repair anything ) Reel will clean up beautiful.
