Conquered winter in Finland! I ordered this shoe for a February trip to Finland/Arctic Circle. Daytime temps were -11 degrees, and it kept my feet warm, although I wore 2 pair of socks. It also gripped the snow really well. I have worn the boots since being home in the rain, and it's very slippery on wet surfaces, so beware. I wear an 11N, and it only comes in M widths, or it would have scored a 5 overall. I also have very flat feet, and the arch support was good although I added an insole for extra comfort since it was the only shoe I used on the trip. Overall a great shoe and the brown hides dirt well. Cute enough for very casual wear in cooler weather even without 5 feet of snow!

Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Timberland makes great quality shoes.
