It is 18" tall. The bracket that goes around the bulb is missing so the shade sits right on the bulb. It's probably an easy part to replace.
The shade measures 10 1/2" square at the bottom rim and is 8" tall. It is in good condition, no damage, and the laces are all still intact.
It does work, the light turns on by a pull chain.
The cloth cord is just beginning to fray. I wasn't afraid to plug it in but you will probably have to replace it at some point.
