VTG THOMPSON-? CAST IRON WALKING LAWN SPRINKLER TRACTOR

UP FOR AUCTION IS A

VINTAGE THOMPSON I THINK, 

(BUT CAN'T FIND THE NAME ON IT)

 CAST IRON WALKING LAWN SPRINKLER TRACTOR. 

 THIS UNIT IS POWERED BY WATER PRESSURE.  THERE IS AN OIL HOLE IN THE REAR AXLE THAT MUST BE KEPT LUBRICATED FOR THE SPRINKLER TO FUNCTION.  THE SPRINKLING BAR IS 25-" AND ROTATES CLOCKWISE.  BOTH WHEELS ARE ALSO CAST IRON - THE REAR WHEEL MEASURING 7-1/2" AND THE PULLEY SHAPED FRONT WHEEL MEASURES 3".  THE OVERALL MEASUREMENT OF THIS SPRINKLER IS 18" X 8" NOT INCLUDING THE SPRINKLING BAR.   I WAS GOING TO GIVE IT A NEW PAINT JOB, AND KEEP IT BUT CHANGED MY MIND. THIS WILL LAST A LIFE TIME.. BUT IT DOESN'T INTERFERE WITH IT'S WORKABILITY.  

IT IS IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION.
