Item Description:

Inspired from George Lucas's sixth film in the Star Wars Saga, Return of the Jedi, we present Harrison Ford as the slightly chilled space pilot of the Rebellion, Han Solo in Carbonite.
Intricately detailed by the Sideshow Collectibles Design & Development Team, who once again has brought back to life another Star Wars iconic film character in a diorama format. Harrison Ford's frozen character is uniquely crafted in a state of hibernation as seen in Episode VI.
Fleeing before a vengeful Darth Vader, the Rebel Alliance scatters, abandoning its secret base on the planet Hoth. With a malfunctioning hyperdrive and the Sith Lord's fleet hot on his tail, the brash pilot turned freedom fighter, Han Solo, throws his ship, the Millenium Falcon, into a series of jinks & manuevers in a vain effort to loose his pursuers. After hiding in an Asteroid field and staging an audacious disappearing act right on the stern of an Imperial Star Destroyer, Han opts to bet everything on the trust of his former associate, Lando Calrissian, as he speeds the Falcon to Cloud City on Bespin for much needed repairs. The cunning Bounty Hunter, Boba Fett, doesn't fall for Han's ploy and tracks him to Cloud City. Alerting Lord Vader of his location, Darth Vader orchestrates a masterful trap. He forces the cooperation of Lando Calrissian, the administrator of Cloud City & former partner of Han, wherein Han & Leia will be used as bait to lure his true prize, Luke Skywalker. Darth Vader intends to immobilize Luke by freezing him in Carbonite, so he tests the process on unlucky Han Solo. Han is put through the painful injections and torturous preparation for the freezing process. Once he is encased in his Carbonite Tomb, Han is loaded into Boba Fett's ship, Slave I, and heads towards Jabba the Hutt's Palace on Tatooine. It's a double win for the Mandolorian Bounty Hunter as he collects his reward from Darth Vader for the Rebels capture and will also collect the huge bounty offered by Jabba for Han's hide! Jabba was so delighted by his favorite fugitive's slab, he decided to permanently hang him in his great hall as a trophy, as well as a warning to all who would oppose his authority. Here our hero will remain frozen in time until his friends and loved one can devise a daring rescue!
Han Solo stands handsomely encased in his deluxe Carbonite Tomb with his detailed environmental section of Jabba's lair. The piece is constructed of heavy weight polystone, then hand painted & finished to Sideshow's exacting standards. The diorama's dimensions are 18.5" X 10"W X 10"D overall & weighs approximately 18 lbs. boxed. Han's Carbonite Slab is suspended from the palace wall display using a single pin and magnet system. It can be removed from the wall for additional display options.

All domestic orders will ship UPS Ground. The winning buyer agrees to pay $35.95 for shipping & handling(insurance included)to anywhere in the continental United States. Alaska and Hawaii have additional shipping charges. For International shipping, you must have the USPS International size limitation of 108"inches for your country. Please contact us for pricing information. Multiple auctions won may be combined at a reduced shipping charge. Some items due to their size and weight cannot be combined.
For all US buyers, if your purchased items are damaged or lost during shipment, we will send all necessary documentation to the buyer to file a claim with the specified carrier(UPS). Shipping & Insurance charges are not refundable. We will gladly refund your purchase price after the specified carrier settles the claim.
