You are bidding on the December 26, 1949 issue of Life magazine, featuring "Michelangelo's Sistine Ceiling - 22 Pages in Color - God the Creator" on the cover.

This issue would make a great gift for someone celebrating a 60th birthday or 60th wedding anniversary in 2009.  Imagine their surprise when they receive the Life magazine from the week they were born, or the week they were married! 

This issue is in good condition, showing wear expected from 60 years of age.  Both covers are intact and all the pages appear to be present.   The covers have separated from the rest of the magazine along all but about 1/2-inch of the spine.

The magazine comes in a protective sleeve and the winning bidder will pay $4.95 for Priority Mail shipping.
