ENGRAVINGS FROM THE WORKS OF SIR JOSHUA REYNOLDS. London: Hodgson and Graves, (no date). We are offering Volumes II and III only of this three volume set. This is an ex-library copy with usual library marks including library bookplates and a few stamps- the plates in Volume II are bright and clean and unmarked, however the plates in Volume III show an unfortunate library stamp in the bottom corner. The front cover of Volume II is loose but present and the rear cover is beginning to loosen. Volume III has cloth tape repairs to the hinges. The large covers (17” x 11”) are half leather with marbled paper covered boards. The covers are rubbed, soiled and worn but the contents are complete and bright with beautiful engravings.
