Item: Carla is a master of both traditional and contemporary Hopi Pottery. She makes very few miniatures
normally only by special order. She has won many awards for both contemporary and traditional pottery.
Carla is the daughter of the late Thomas Polacca and great granddaughter of the famous Hopi potter Nampeyo.
Material: Traditional hand coiled pottery.
Mark: Please see photo.
Size: Approximately 1 3/4 inches high and 1 3/4 inches wide.
Condition: Super hand made pottery.

    is home. The people that I list are friends, neighbors and members of neighboring tribes. I often
    lose money on the sales after paying all the fees and satellite Internet service charges because we
    do not have a local Internet provider here on Hopi. The reason I do this is to help promote the quality
    of art available on the Native American Reservations. Nowhere else in the world will you find such a
    large concentration of artists and craftsperson’s. I encourage you all to plan a family vacation to
    Indian Country. It is an experience like no other. It will give you an opportunity to see mystical lands
    where traditions generations old are still practiced. You will also be able to meet and purchase
    art and crafts directly from these fabulous people.
