First Edition, "Happy Birthday to You!" by Dr. Seuss. New York: Random House, 1959. The book is in very good to almost near fine condition for its age. Some finger smudging on some of the first pages, with minor yellowing from age, otherwise bright with a tight spine. Internally clean with NO previous owner's signature or bookplate. Some wear to top and bottom of spine and minimal wear to outside corners of book. POINT: white dots on "Today is your birthday!" page. The dust jacket is also in very good condition. There is some rubbing, minor crinkling and, to back cover, yellowing and minor soiling. There is a 1" tear on the back cover and chipping, rubbing and crinkling to top and bottom of spine. POINT: 295/295 on front flap. Overall, an attractive and well preserved copy of the first Dr. Seuss book printed "entirely in full color." In a protective cover. We welcome questions.
