The2FunAdGuyz offer a new, high-quality reproduction print of a rare 1918 World War I Home Front encouraging civilians to purchase War Bonds. This poster features a stunning rendering of Joan of Arc, the legendary French Saint. Joan of Arc put on armor and saved the French in a civil war with England on the opposing side. She was eventually burned at the stake at the age of 19, only to be eventually made a Saint of the Catholic Church. On this poster Joan is raising a sword. The copy reads: Joan Of Arc Saved France--Women Of America, Save Your Country--Buy War Savings Stamps Haskell Coffin created this poster in 1918. Coffin was a very famous illustrator—specializing in beautiful young women. His work was featured on covers of major magazines of the period and most of his work emphasized young women, many times with their pets. The United States Treasury Department issued the poster in 1918. The United States Printing & Lithograph Co., New York, did the original lithograph on which this new print is based. This is a great addition to any collection of World War I home front posters. ![]() PAPER QUALITY: This new print is on a highest quality, acid-free, 100-pound glossy premium text paper that allows for maximum color brilliance and fidelity for older images.
