1- Mint - I didn't use a magnifying glass, but I don't see anything. May have a skid mark in the center of the disc around the hole, the non data portion of the disc. On rare games, if you care, ask.
2- Almost Mint - Is that a scratch? Is that lint? Wait let me take it by the stove. Yeah, that's a scratch. Can be any quantity, but it's obvious they don't matter. You might call it mint but I'm hesitant to. This rating may include real scratches in the center of the disc around the hole, the non data portion of the disc.
3- Few minor scratches on underside that do not affect game play - A few, not a lot and not deep, but they are there.
4- Minor scratches on underside that do not affect game play - There's a bunch of 'em, but they're not deep and it works.
5- Scratches on underside that do not affect game play - Dude, this thing is scratched, I was almost surprised it worked
BUT...
G - Glue or Stickers - If I use this code, Probably rental security sticker on disc.
R - Rental - If I use this code, Probably Magic Marker on disc.

1- Mint - I didn't use a magnifying glass, but I don't see anything. Pages lay perfectly flat, or almost perfectly. It looks like maybe it's never been opened, so I didn't open it. There could be a pen mark on page 87, I didn't check. Even on brand new games, most booklets have that little pinch crimp squish mark in the center of the booklet on the edge. It looks like maybe when the machine closed the case, the round edge of the disc circle clipped the booklet a little. You've seen it on brand new games. If that is all that is wrong with a book, and it is perfect in every other way, I still call that mint.
2- Almost Mint - I didn't use a magnifying glass, but I don't see anything. Pages stay open a little bit. It looks like it's been carefully read a few times. There could be a pen mark on page 87, I didn't check.
3- Excellent - It's been read but not abused. There is probably a pen mark on page 87, I didn't check.
4- Not Pretty - It's not pretty. Page 87 may be missing, I didn't check.
5- Missing - There's a space in the case where the book goes.
BUT...
W - Warped - Maybe got wet, maybe it was jammed in a rental case.

1 - Overall Mint - I didn't use a magnifying glass, but I don't see anything. There may be the tiny diagonal slit in the corner of the case on the soft protective plastic, many new games come that way. On rare games, if you care, ask.
2 - Overall Almost Mint - Nothing specific really, just you might try to say it's not mint. Maybe slight rubbing of edge, maybe Slightly hazy.
3 - Overall Hazy - It looks dull, maybe it's been rubbed too much, maybe tons of shelf wear. I don't know, it looks hazy.
4 - Missing - Disc only, no case.
BUT...
B - Book tab - The book holder tab is broken off.
C - Cracked - The hard shell is either cracked or a small chunk is missing.
D - Disc holder - Disc holder button thing is kinda messed up, hangs funny, disc may fall out.
G - Glue or Stickers - Includes rental stickers, price tags, round white case closers.
May be the glue from a removed sticker.
GH - Greatest Hits - The case is the Greatest Hits case.
I - Insert Edge - The insert was sticking up out of the plastic and the edge got messed up.
P - Punctured - It's got a puncture in soft protective plastic.
Maybe someone stabbed it with a chopstick.
R - Rental - The case is not the standard PS2 case. It's the rental case with the lock thing.
T - Torn - A tear or slit in soft protective plastic.
S - Scratches - It's got scratches on soft protective plastic.
W - Warped - The insert under the plastic is warped. It must have gotten wet.
