This is a beautiful 8 1/2" tall dark pink hued pedistal bowl. I am guessing it was made to be a fruit bowl. Not sure, only a guess. I am also guessing it was made anywhere from the 1950s-1960s. Not sure, only a guess. No idea as to the maker. The pedistal bowl has a diameter of 6 1/2". The color and hue are striking. Against a white background, it appears as if it is a bowl within a bowl. The color appears to be a deep pink hue but held to the light, it then appears a deep purple hue. Very unusual and attractive. The base is a large circular shape with a thick band on the stem. Excellant condition with no chips, cracks, or other defects.
