Fluorite Crystal Elmwood Mine Carthage Tennessee



You are bidding on a beautiful thumbnail specimen of Fluorite crystal on calcite from the Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee.

The famous Elmwood Mine re-opened briefly in 2007-2008 and a few thousand specimens were recovered.  This piece came from that effort.  The mine has since closed again.

Due to the very dark purple color of the fluorite, it is non-fluorescent.

It measures 5/8 x  1 x 3/4 inches.  This will make a great addition to your collection. 

The shipping to US addresses is $1.78. (Postage 1.39, padded mailer .20, delivery confirmation .19)
