| What are USB and/or Firewire connections for? |
With Firewire IEEE 1394 or USB 2.0 connection(s), the duplicator will become a two-in-one package duplicator. It is a fully functional DVD\CD duplicator that will duplicate your own master DVD\CD. The duplicator also has the ability to allocate a drive(s) to function as an external DVD\CD recorder using USB or Firewire*. All you need is to connect the duplicator to your computer via USB or Firewire cable(s)** and you will have external DVD\CD recorder(s) ready for use. You can use any DVD\CD creation software to create your master with the USB or Firewire connected DVD\CD recorder(s). Then turn off the USB or Firewire connection and use the burned disc as your master disc. Afterwards, just sit back and copy all you need. This is definitely the choice for you since it combines DVD\CD creation and duplication into one machine.
* One optional Firewire IEEE 1394/USB 2.0 connection will connect to one external recorder.
