WONDERFUL VINTAGE CHILDREN'S BOOK.  I CAN FIND NO COPYRIGHT DATE INSIDE; BUT FROM RESEARCH I HAVE DONE; THE FIRST PUBLICATION DATE WAS 1942.  NO WRITING INSIDE.  WEAR TO THE OUTSIDE COVERS (CREASED CORNER).  ONE OF THE FOLD OUT PICTURES INSIDE IS TORN AND REPAIRED. 

  Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1942.  Staple-bound as issued,  22 pages.. "During World War II when toys and paper were scarce, Rey anticipated the flap books children enjoy today with a series of small-sized books, including this title, first published in London in 1939.  When young readers lift the brightly illustrated flap opposite each page of verse, they uncover such varied home-dwellers as rabbits, bees, fish, cars, trains and even "a boy or a girl, like you!"
