You can also just point one end of the fibers toward a light in the room and have the other ends located in a shaded area or slightly darker area of the room and the tip ends will all light up! The easiest way to light up your fiber optic fibers is to use a tiny, super bright, MICRO ILLUMINATOR with REMOTE CONTROL (SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR RELATED ITEMS) or make your own very EZ!! Their Size: They vary in diameter and just guessing, I would say they are about 1/2mm to 1mm thick. About as thick as a sewing straight pin or fishing line more or less! These fibers are all precut! They range from about 24 to 60 inches long and average about 2 to 3 feet long. If you need a thicker or larger lights just bundle as many fibers together as you need! You can also splice them end to end to make them longer very easily too!!
