This is a vintage retro hard molded plastic basket that I think was used for sewing supplies.  It is a varigated brown slightly see thru and  brown handles to match.  The lid is clear white with a beautiful raised design with a raised latch.  There are no marking on it to give me any information so use your imagination -  the uses are numereous
