This auction is for 2Lb spool . When packaged the weight will be approximately 2.25 lbs.. We are auctioning a beautiful deep Burgundy color Acrylic chenille knitting crochet yarn. Each cone weights approximately 2 lbs so it is a large cone. There are approximately 5000 yards on this cone. This yarn will work for machine knitters as well as crochers and hand knitters. As a hand knitter I would double the yarn or use two strands together. I did a little gauge and get about 4.5 to 5 stitches per inch using 7 or 8 US needles when doubled. There is enough on this cone to make a size large sweater. We do have more from the same dye lot. This is a pretty yarn use it alone or add it to another yarn to create a designer effect. 1855
