Here is a complete, genuine historic old newspaper with the following title, date and description: THE HERALD; A GAZETTE FOR THE COUNTRY, New York, Oct. 14, 1795

* Rare title from 18th century America
* Princeton University

Here is an uncommon title published for slightly more than three years, from June of 1794 to Sept. of 1797. This is a volume II issue (number 143).

On the front page under "France" are the "Duties Of A Man, And A Citizen. Added to the Declaration of Rights." Pg. 2 has a lengthy article from the London Telegraph: "Mr. Pitt's Death!" (see for portions) Page 3 has news from Boston, Philadelphia, & New York.

Back page has a few ads and more news, plus a report about the commencement of the College of New Jersey (Princeton).

Has stray writing above the masthead, lite staining in the upper left corner, some edge wear.
