Vintage Red & White Peanut Butter Jar Owens-Ill Glass

A wonderful vintage Red & White brand Peanut Butter glass jar with a screw-on lid.  The oval jar is curved on the front side and has three panels on the back side.  It has a set of lines pressed into the sides and top of the front.  The red, black and white paper label is marked "1 Pound Avd.  Red & White  Brand  Peanut Butter  Made From No. I. Grade Peanuts Only  Red & White Corp'n.  Distributors  Buffalo, N.Y."  The red and gold metal lid is marked "Vacuum Packed  This Seals A Duraglas Container."  The bottom of the jar is marked "Des. Pat.  89885" and has the Owens Illinois Glass Company trademark at the center.  The jar is about 6" high and about 3" across at the base.  It is in very good condition overall.  The paper label is a bit worn, but I do not find any chips or cracks in the glass.  The lid is in very good condition.
