You are bidding on a rare, authentic, complete and acutal 1987 issue of Mix magazine, 'the recording industry magazine" for all audio and sound engineers to this day. This complete issue is packed with great articles and great adverts for what is now vintage and rare gear!

Many highlights in this issue, my favorites:

1. "Analog 2-Tracks", which is a very useful comparision of two-track mix down machines with a chart showing specs and prices and such. My suggestion: you can buy a nice Otari 5050B for nothing almost these days, do your mix on that at 15ips and compare to whatever digital gizmo you are using. Hit the tape hard. You will hear some real sweetness....

2. "Hawaii: Recording in Paradise", with some neat history and a guide to studios in Hawaii back 20+ years ago.

Many other great ads and articles, and this baby is 222 pages long...a nice fat one!

For what it is worth, I have owned a vintage, tube based analogue 24-track studio for over 20 years...and yes, the vintage, tube and discrete electronics DOES sound much better than anything else! Learn all you can about vintage tube gear, it keeps going up in value!
