"Chinese Opera" - 10" LP

SS (STILL SEALED):  Album is still sealed in factory shrink wrap and has never been opened. The record is assumed to be undamaged and mint.

NM (NEAR MINT):  The vinyl is virtually flawless, and appears bright and shiny. A very minor, barely visible scuff or two may be present, but there are no scratches. The record should play with no audible noise. The label is bright, clean, and has not been defaced in any way.

VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS):  The vinyl shows some visible surface wear, very minor scratches and scuffs, which may have a minimal impact on the sound quality. Vinyl will still have good luster; however, labels may have minor imperfections (small labels or initials, etc.) but otherwise clean.

VG (VERY GOOD): The vinyl has noticeable scratches or scuffs which will likely cause minor surface noise, but will not overpower the music.  Surface imperfections will likely still allow the record to play through without any skips. Vinyl may appear somewhat dull and grayish. Labels may have small tears, tape marks, larger writing, etc. but still easily legible. There may be some wear around the spindle hole.

G (GOOD):  The vinyl has been obviously been subject to significant use and/or abuse.  The vinyl appears dull with deeper scratches and wear causing distracting surface noise (such as hisses, pops, and crackling). The record should still play through without any skips. Labels may be significantly defaced or damaged.

P (POOR): Records in this category are generally unplayable due to deep scratches and significant surface damage, which will causing skips and excessive hissing, pops, and crackling.  Useful to a collector only as a place holder until a better one becomes available.

Album covers are graded within the following categories and descriptions:

SS (STILL SEALED): Album is still in the factory-applied shrink-wrapping.

M (MINT): Cover is flawless: no corner dings, marks, tears, dents, impressions from the disc, or other flaws.

NM (NEAR MINT): Cover shows very minor signs of wear or cover impressions.

E (EXCELLENT): Cover shows minor disc impression or slight corner creases, but there are no wrinkles, seam splits, or writing on the cover.

VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS):  Cover is clean but may have minor writing or marks and may show slight wear. There may be light ring wear, where the disc has created a raised area on the cover that resulted in the ink wearing off the paper. There may be slight discoloration or staining, minor seam wear, but no splits or tears. Corners may have small creases or fraying.

VG (VERY GOOD): The cover shows moderate wear. Seams may be starting to split or may have been unobtrusively repaired with clear tape.  There is moderate ringwear, but the artwork is still relatively bright and attractive. There may be yellowing or discoloration and there may be larger writing, labels, or marks. Corners may have damage or creases and there may be scratches or gouges that otherwise damage the artwork.

G (GOOD): The cover shows significant wear.  There may be major seam splits, large marker writing, significant ring wear, damaged corners, tears, cuts, or scrapes.  There may by significant, obtrusive repairs using masking or duct tape to join split seams or other damage.

P (POOR): The cover is barely there.  There may be large portions of the cover missing or severely damage.
