Vintage Chalk Comic Strip Characters Smitty Skeezix etc

Vintage chalk / plaster 1940s comic strip character figures all marked copyright Chic Tribune. All covered with fine chalk dust which is how they came. This washes off if you are very careful. These were meant to be hand painted. Includes: Smitty characters: Smitty, Ma Smith, Pa Smith—Smilin’ Jack character: Sable (5)—Harold Teen character: Pop Jenks—Sweeney & Son character: Sweeney—Gasoline Alley characters: Skeezix and Corky—and last figure I believe to be Ma Winkle from Winnie Winkle, figure is marked Ma W. Figures size range approximately 5”-6 ½”. 13 figures in all. A somewhat legible 1947 copy of a list of all the comic character statuettes will be included.
