Description
Disney's animated film Tarzan gets the videogame treatment and makes his way to the PlayStation. The game follows the plot of the movie: you must help Tarzan grow from a boy to an adult in the span of 14 levels of action. While many of the levels offer platform-jumping, vine-swinging fun, some of them recreate some of the action sequences from the movie. No matter where he is, Tarzan must collect the tokens and fruit that are scattered about. Collecting 100 tokens earns an extra life, and the fruit can be used to dispose of enemies. If you can collect the four pieces of Jane's baboon drawing, you can earn the chance to play a bonus level. You've got to help the young ape-man discover his place in the world with Tarzan.

Description: New from Disney Interactive, Tarzan is released to coincide with the new Disney blockbuster animation of the world famous Lord of the Jungle. Tarzan has been immortalised in magazines, books, comics, radio, television and the movies, now you can control him through 16 levels of swinging, running, swimming, stampeding and even tree-surfing platform action. On top of this there are a host of challenging bosses and intriguing sub-quests, and many bonus levels to explore.

The game follows the classic Edgar Rice Burroughs story of a human baby raised in the jungle by a family of apes. When a human expedition comes to his part of the jungle, Tarzan is torn between his human 'family' and the apes. He meets and falls in love with Jane, a beautiful young woman, but learns that one of the human party aims to hurt the apes.

Tarzan encounters many exciting and taxing adventures through the game, including herds of stampeding elephants, a pack of ferocious baboons and a battle to the death with Sabor the Tiger. Tarzan features music, design and animation from the sensational new Disney movie and is your opportunity to take part in one of the greatest adventure stories of the century.
