This little (7 1/4" by 5") softcover copy of Moliere's classic play was published in 1939.

It's in very good condition for a softcover book of its age.

The cover is intact with some aging but no tears.  Inside the front cover is an ad for another publication, the HANDBOOK FOR THEATRICAL APPRENTICES by Dorothy Lee Tompkins.  Inside the back cover is a drawing of a scene design from the play.

The pages are all intact, firmly attached by the two staples at the side.  One page has some underlining.  Otherwise, the pages are aged but clean without creases, writing, or highlighting.
