The 16-bar pressure and the instant heating contribute to the quality of the coffee.
Its taste also depends on the quality of the water. The removable tank in the 123 Spresso machine is fitted with a disposable softener filter which removes the hardness from tap water along with any micro-impurities and any parasite tastes.
Freshness
The coffee itself has been traditionally roasted for twenty minutes, which is the only way to develop the full range of flavours in quality coffee.
Each pod contains exactly seven grams of pressed coffee grains to produce a constant level of quality expressos.
Malongo pods are wrapped in natural filter paper, without whitener or glue; this preserves the authentic flavours of the brew. They are vacuum-wrapped immediately after being roasted, so they are always fresh and the flavours are perfectly preserved.

this machine uses the 123 Spresso concept, a simply and effective system using pre-dosed coffee pods.
It is a real expresso machine with a pressure of 16 bars.
How does it work? Just slot the pod into the top of the machine, select the type of coffee you want to make and stop it once the coffee is served as you like it. The used pod is then automatically ejected into the box beneath the machine.
It does not have a steam function for making cappuccinos.
