Almost three gallons of Pure liquid epoxy resin and hardener, 24 pounds net.

These resins are repackaged from bulk containers into an easy to ship, mix and use kit. The resin is 16 pounds of pure liquid epoxy resin, (diglycidyl ether of Bisphenol A, CAS # 25068-38-6, and if you care to research that you'll find this is the exact same chemical as Hexion Epon 828, Dow 331, or Ciba Araldite GY 6010,)  and it's clear resin packaged in two 1 gallon plastic pails.

The curing agent/hardner is 8 pounds of variable ratio, medium viscosity, curing agent, with a yellow tint, packaged in a one gallon plastic pail. This kit is 100:50 mix ratio by weight.

The curing agent is a versatile curing agent that can be used with this resin in as low a ratio as 33 to 100 by weight (more ridged) and as high a ratio as 67 to 100 (more elastic.)  When mixed with pure epoxy resin this kit is right in the middle of the ratio range.

This is a slow curing epoxy system, (24 hours to reach about 90% cured) that must be used above 60 degrees F to avoid problems with it attracting moisture. The pure epoxy resin is clear and the hardener is amber/clear which make the finished epoxy clear with a yellow tint to it.

These materials are both quite thick, they WILL NOT wet a fiberglass cloth or mat well, they are too thick, plus they cure very slowly so it will run on a slopped surface.
