Rare 1959 Lone Ranger Peace Patrol Pin-back Trophy Award!

ESTATE FRESH!

 

I believe this to be a very rare Lone Ranger item!  The US Treasury department introduced the Peace Patrol featuring the Lone Ranger to encourage the purchase of savings bonds in 1959.  During this time there were several items made and distributed to promote the program.  Among these items were posters, membership cards, and cello buttons.  I believe that this particular piece was awarded to a child who achieved a certain level in this program!

 

The celluloid pin back is 1 1/4" in diameter.  It has a red white and blue ribbon attached to the bottom which attaches to the plastic trophy!  The trophy is approximately 3 1/2" tall.  This piece is all original as presented.

 

The award is in very good condition.
