Good-looking 7-piece vanity set consisting of an 11½" x 9" tray, 3" x 2¾" tall lidded box, and two 10" x 6" wide stoppered bottles. All done in a dark orchid background with colorful hand-painted flowers. All on heavy milk white glass pieces.
Bottles in excellent condition with no damage save for one smooth flat chip on one of the stopper ends. Lidded box has a couple chips on the rim edge. Didn't find any damage to the glass on the tray.
Finish issues include the background paint on the tray which has been wearing away due to the bottle and dish being pushed around on it, and the edge of the powder dish where they banged the edge of the jar with the edge of the lid and scuffed the paint in a couple places. Bottles appear to be in excellent shape as far as finish is concerned. See the photos for condition of tray paint. All the flowers on all the pieces seem to be in great shape.
Still a good-looking set, even with the paint conditions mentioned above. A really artistically talented person could refinish the tray and end up with a super-nice setting. Maker and age unattributed, but am guessing "old".
Note: Combining shipments is my favorite thing to do - as long as it can be done safely and economically. If you win an item with "free shipping" and one without, you pay only for the weight of the "non-free" item.
