Features raised tower edges to keep rope in place on edge protector. Protects rope against sharp rock edge lips and reduces friction at the lip when top roping and when belaying off the wall. Originally used as an edge protector on steel bridge beams to keep the trucker chains from wearing on the steel girder edges during transport! If it is tough enough to protect from steel chains... it is tough enough to protect your rope. This is a USED edge protector and will show some WEAR from the chains on its original use but these have lots of life left in them for protecting your rope!
