This dress laces up down the front through silver grommets, and has been boned along the grommets to prevent bunching.  The skirt is pleated into the bodice of the dress.  The dress has grommets at the shoulders to adjust it.  The dress is made out of a cotton blend lilac purple.  The underskirt is a patterned light cream and coordinating lilac fabric..   Skirt has an elastic waistband, and a serged hem.

***Important note: this auction is for the overdress and the underskirt only!!  The jewelry, belt, hoopskirt, and chemise are NOT included!!  (The chemise is the blousy thing/shirt worn underneath, and the hoopskirt is the item that makes it puff up underneath.  I get a lot of questions asking what those two items are... I just figured I'd clarify it all right here. :-)

All seams have been finished and this dress is dry clean only! The skirt however may be machine washed.
