Used to operate any Medela Symphony Breast Pump.  This is for the card only, this card will upgrade the original programming from the original symphony pump to the new version.  This card retails for $250.00 through Medela.  I purchased this card from someone who purchased a used Symphony for the birth of their last child, and was told that it did not include this card, needless to say, It never got used because the breast pump already came with the same card.  It was placed in the pump to test the card, but was not used and comes in it's original packaging.

The new Program Card 2.0 is programmed to operate 2-Phase Expression similar to the Original Symphony Program Card. Additionally, there are some new user-friendly features available:

By incorporating new features designed to improve a mother's pumping experience Medela delivers on the promise of the Symphony breastpump to be upgradeable and to offer flexible programming.

 

Starts pumping at 3 drops
The Stimulation Phase starts at a vacuum level with 3 drops.

 

Softer and gentler transition between Stimulation and Expression
When switching from Stimulation to Expression Phase, the vacuum level will ramp-up by 3 bars in a stair-stepped fashion over the course of 4 seconds.

 

Easy switch back and forth between Stimulation and Expression
Should a mother need to return to the Stimulation Phase, she can easily depress the let-down button.

 

Remembers last vacuum level in Stimulation
A memory feature remembers the last vacuum level in the Stimulation Phase during one pumping session
