Thank you for viewing this auction. This Churches of the World Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris Facade building is new in the box (removed and inspected to confirm no damage). It features Display Anywhere Lighting which runs on 4 'AA' batteries (not included). The box indicates that it also will work with a remote control (not included). On the back of the facade building are paragraphs of important historical information about Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris.  At the bottom of the historical information panel it says that this facade building is the first lighted facade in the Dept 56 Churches of the World Series.

Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, Notre Dame is one of the finest examples of French gothic architecture. The western facade is the cathedral's most well-known feature, and is recreated in this porcelain replica. The facade is divided into three distinct levels. At the base are three entranceways, with the King's Gallery running above them. The middle is dominated by the circular West Rose Window. The top third features the Galerie des Chimieres, from which rise the north and south towers.

 Total shipment is one porcelain building with display anywhere lighting, in original Dept 56 package. Nothing else in the image is included.
