Large Antique Victorian Floral Porcelain Mantle Clock 15 1/2"
Pretty English porcelain clock with lovely floral front and an unusual color scheme. The top is a real nice light bluish turquoise that is highlighted with a wine tone around the top floral sprays. The edging of the bottom is like a chocolate color with irridescent highlights. It is not without blemish. There is some loss of transfer on the lower side of the orange flower, edge rubbing, and crazing. Also, it looks like the handle was repaired and the gold touched up on the front metal rim of the clock...both were not done by a trained professional. The clock is 15 1/2 inches tall, 12 inches wide, and 4 inches deep at the widest point. The clock works need to be cleaned...it isn't ticking. It is a pretty clock for its age despite the issues.
Most of the items sold by PinkAntiques are vintage or antique and were obtained in auctions in England or estate sales in Texas. I normally will not clean or repair anything I sell - I leave that up to the buyers. Although I have spent many years in antiques, I am not an expert in everything. I do my best to describe each item with care and provide as much detail about the item as I know. I welcome your questions if I miss something and your comments if you know something about an item and would like to add to my information. Thank you so much for stopping by my auction and have a blessed day!
Payment is through Paypal and it is due within 10 days. Please communicate with me no later than 3 days after auction closes to acknowledge your winning.
My primary shipping method is with USPS. I will offer 2 or 3 shipping options depending on size and weight when I invoice auction winner. I normally list the suggested option first (based on time and economy). Buyers may select whichever option best suits their personal needs.
Buyers should note that they will be responsible for any import or customs charges. I will list items at closing auction value on customs forms. I will not misrepresent a purchase so please do not ask.
If there are any special needs or considerations, a buyer should email that information to me so I can let you know if your request is possible (ie. item is a gift for a party in 4 days so can we get it there on time?). I will do my best to accomodate any request within reason.
Insurance is highly recommended for all breakable, unique antique, or special items. If insurance is not optional, it will be indicated in the item description and included in the shipping quote. Seller will not be held liable for loss or damage when insurance is not purchased by the buyer.
Sold as is...I will accept returns if I grossly misrepresent my items. Please ask questions, ask for more pictures, and talk to me before you buy if you aren't sure.
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
