This Stunning, VINTAGE, 1970's/1980's "MIDI" DRESS WITH MOTHER OF PEARL BUTTONS, UP THE ENTIRE FRONT CLOSURE, AND A "CRISS-CROSS" STYLE BACK is in EXCELLENT CONDITION and a SIZE 6, as shown on the inner tags. "MADE IN NEPAL", it is 100% RAYON and simply gorgeous!
The clinging style of the bodice gives way to the flaring skirt, just past the hips, that flows with you as you move. Comfortable and cool for Summer Days or Nights, or add a sweet sweater and it goes into Fall, Winter & Spring! A shirt style collar and sleeveless styling reminds me of the beautiful fashions of this era and I wish we could go back to these ultra-feminine dresses! The buttons are large and fashioned of shell, or "mother of pearl". The fold down "shirt" collar continues around the neckline, directly above the cut-out "criss-cross" area. I am truly unsure if this is a very very deep Navy Blue or Black background fabric, but it is covered in Red Tulips and other flowers, with Green Leaves and White Polka Dots! It is made of 100% RAYON for that super, cool feeling, even on the warmest Summer day. This is such a beautiful and romantic dress and the details make it even more so!
