Large 10 1/2" Imperial Carnival Glass Amber Open Lustre Rose Bowl

 



Carnival glass amber lustre rose footed fruit bowl manufactured by Imperial Glass circa 1911 (unsigned). This pattern was also referred to as Imperial's No. 489 American Beauty Rose pattern and also as Open Rose. This bowl is pictured in James Measell's "Imperial Glass Encyclopedia Volume 1 A-Cane." It is quite large, measuring 10 1/2" in diameter and standing 4 1/2" tall. It has wonderful iridescence. Condition excellent.
